(001)How much does construction video cost?
+
Site visits start from £350 plus VAT. What moves the price from there is the size of the site, how long we need on it, how many services you want on the same visit and how much editing the finished films need. Photography, FPV drone flythroughs and interviews can all be added to a visit rather than booked as separate days, which is why regular clients get more for the same money. Send over the scheme and the dates and you will have a written quote back within a day.
(002)Can you film on a live construction site?
+
Yes. We work on active sites across the UK and we are set up for it. We work to your RAMS, complete site inductions, and arrive in the right PPE. Flights and ground shots are planned around your programme, so the build carries on while we film.
(003)Do you have the right drone permissions and insurance?
+
Yes. We hold the CAA permissions required for commercial drone work and we carry public liability insurance. We send our certificates and risk assessments across before we arrive, so your site team has everything on file ahead of the visit.
(004)What is an FPV drone flythrough?
+
An FPV flythrough is a single unbroken flight that travels through a space rather than circling above it. The drone moves through door openings, down stairwells and between structures, so the viewer gets a continuous sense of scale and layout that a static aerial shot cannot give. It is the piece of content developments tend to share the most.
(005)How quickly do we get the footage?
+
A first cut usually lands within 24 hours of the shoot. Final delivery is agreed at the brief, and if you are working to a launch date or a milestone we plan backwards from it.
(006)What areas of the UK do you cover?
+
We are based in Manchester and work across the North West, with regular jobs in Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside. We travel to sites nationwide, and longer jobs and away days are quoted with travel included so there are no surprises later.
(007)Can you do photography and video on the same visit?
+
Yes, and most clients do. Running both on one visit keeps disruption to the site down, and it means the stills and the film share the same light and the same stage of the build.
(008)Do you film progress across a whole build?
+
Yes. Progress coverage is one of the most common things we do. Regular visits from groundworks through to handover, cut into milestone films along the way and a full story at the end. Regular visits usually work out better value per visit than booking one at a time.
(009)Who owns the footage and where can we use it?
+
You get full usage of the finished content for your own marketing, which covers your website, social channels, bids, press and site hoardings. We keep the right to show the work in our own portfolio. If you need exclusive or restricted usage, say so at the brief and we will build it into the agreement.
