What it actually is

Properly lit, properly composed stills of finished buildings, interiors and the people who use them. Exteriors at the right time of day, interiors balanced so the windows are not blown out, and detail shots that show the quality of the work rather than just the room.

On timing, which matters more than people think

Buildings photograph best at particular times of day and often at particular times of year. Interiors want the sun in the right place, exteriors usually want dusk. We plan the shoot around the light rather than around the diary, and it is the single biggest difference between photographs that look expensive and photographs that do not.

What developers, contractors and architects ask us about commercial photography.

How many images do we get from a shoot?

A typical half day produces around 15 to 25 finished images and a full day around 30 to 50, depending on the size of the building. You get every image we deliver fully edited, not a contact sheet to pick from.

Do you photograph interiors as well as exteriors?

Yes, and usually on the same visit. Interiors need more care because you are balancing the light inside against the windows, but doing both together means the whole building is captured at the same stage.

Can we use the photographs in bids and on our website?

Yes, permanently. You get full and unlimited usage of the finished images for your own marketing, with no licence to renew and no expiry date. That covers your website, social channels, bids, press and printed material. We keep the right to show the work in our own portfolio.

Do you shoot the building with people in it?

We can, and it usually makes the images work harder. An empty room shows the specification, a room in use shows what it is for. If you want people in the shots, tell us at the brief so we can arrange it properly rather than grabbing whoever is passing.

How much does construction video cost?

Site visits start from £350 plus VAT. What moves the price from there is the size of the site, how long we need on it, how many services you want on the same visit and how much editing the finished films need. Photography, FPV drone flythroughs and interviews can all be added to a visit rather than booked as separate days, which is why regular clients get more for the same money. Send over the scheme and the dates and you will have a written quote back within a day.
